With the adjective 'цікавы' (interesting):

цікавы горад — interesting city (m.)

цікавая кніга — interesting book (f.)

цікавыя маркі — interesting stamps (pl.)

Adjectives with a soft stem (ending in -ні, like апошні 'last') use soft endings: апошні (m.), апошняя (f.), апошняе (n.), апошнія (pl.).
