Месны склон
The locative case (месны склон) is used with prepositions to indicate location: у/ў (in, at), на (on, at), пры (near, by, in the presence of). It answers the question дзе? (where?).
Feminine nouns (-а/-я) take the endings -е, -і, or -ы in the locative:
Masculine nouns (consonant ending) take -е, -э, -і, or -у/-ю:
Neuter nouns take -е, -і, or -ы:
Remember the phonetic rule from 8-15Ф: after back consonants г, к, х, use -і instead of -е/-ы:
рака → на рацэ́ (but: дарога → на даро́зе) — on the river; on the road
рука → у руцэ́ — in the hand
