  • Спадарыня: Добры дзень, Юлюк! Так, ён дома. Заходзь! — Good afternoon, Yulyuk! Yes, he's home. Come in!
  • Юлюк: Янка, пойдзем на каток! Лёд добры сёньня. — Yanka, let's go to the skating rink! The ice is good today.
  • Янка: Не магу. Мне трэба пайсьці ў краму. — I can't. I need to go to the store.
  • Ніна: Я пайду ў краму замест цябе, Янка. Ідзіце на каток! — I'll go to the store instead of you, Yanka. Go to the rink!
  • Янка: Дзякуй, Ніна! Тады мы пойдзем. — Thanks, Nina! Then we'll go.
